Clomiphene Citrate improves the activity between mid-brain (hypothalamus), pituitary gland (thypophysis), and testes in men by blocking the ability of estrogen to bind with its corresponding receptor. Clomiphene has a strong influence on the hypothala-mohypophysial testicular axis. It stimulates the hypophysis to release more gonadotropin so that a faster and higher release of FSH (follicle stimulating hormone) and LH (luteinizing hormone) occurs. This results in an elevated endogenous (body’s own) testosterone level. Clomiphene is especially effective when this testosterone production is suppressed. In most cases Clomiphene can normalize the testosterone level and spermatogenesis (sperm development) within 10-14 days. It is an effective antagonist in the hypothalamus and in breast tissue, and is also an effective agonist in bone tissue, and for improving blood cholesterol.

Male users generally find that a daily intake of 50-100 mg (1-2 tablets) over a four to six week period will bring testosterone production back to an optimal level. This raise in testosterone should occur slowly but evenly throughout the period of intake.
